Emphatic but determined, gentle but energetic – these are the ways Dragan’s friends, colleagues and coachees use to describe him. These are also the coaching embodiment of his inner being, academic and professional background and artistic inclinations. Educated in the U.S. in social sciences, Ph.D. in political science, and natural sciences, bachelors in electrical engineering, and with professional skills sharpened working at university and in governmental and non-governmental international organizations, he remained committed to the delivery similar to a jazz improvisation of his lifelong interest in saxophone playing: master what you learned to the best of your capacities, then forget it all, and start anew with raw emotion: fresh and yet knowing what you know. Which is what he does in coaching and which has shaped his coaching goal: to propel people’s self discovery of potential without enforcing it; to develop people without imposing development; and, ultimately – to coach without coaching.
